Raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
Bright copper kettles and warm woolen mittens
Brown paper packages tied up with strings
These are a few of my favorite things
– Lyrics from My Favorite Things, The Sound of Music, Rogers & Hammerstein, 1965
I love fashion stuff and style stuff. If I tripped over a million dollar bill tomorrow, a good portion of it would go toward fueling my closet. However, since Wikipedia informs me that the largest US currency issued was the $100,000 bill (graced by Woodrow Wilson, of all people), and since I’ve never seen ONE of those, much less ten, I doubt I’ll start the spending spree anytime soon.
But a girl can dream, and this girl does.
What you see in My Favorite Things pages are not necessarily in my closet, but they very likely would be if given half a chance. So come along, go ohh and ahhh, shop if you feel like it. Dream a little dream with me.
